Coach Mrozik resigns; named Associate Head Coach at Cal Poly

It is a bittersweet day for Mountain Mission Hoops as we officially say goodbye to Pawel Mrozik, our Head Coach these past 4 years. Pawel brought a passion and an energy to our program as he led the way developing MMS Hoops into one of the best high school programs in the nation – graduating six seniors from the class of 2016 alone that will be playing Division 1 basketball in the fall!
Coach Mrozik was officially introduced late yesterday as the next Associate Head Coach at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA. Coaching at the highest level has always been a goal of Pawel’s and, while he will be missed, we are excited to see him take this step in his coaching career and wish he and his beautiful family nothing but the best as he strives to fulfill the Great Commission in his new position.
Mountain Mission School administration and staff have a commitment to excellence in all we do as we Rescue Kids, Raise Leaders, and Reach Nations; Pawel was a major part of our school growth in his time with us not only serving as Head Basketball Coach, but also as Director of Student Development.
As we continue to pursue excellence in our basketball program we have hired Al Wilson, Jr. as our next head basketball coach and administration and coaches alike expect a seamless transition into the next era of Mountain Mission Basketball. More to come in the near future about Coach Wilson.
Thank you, congratulations, best wishes, and God Bless you Coach Mrozik!
